Math's problems

We have been trying to figure out this maths problem.

There are 3 baskets. A brown one, a pink one and a red one holding a total of 10 eggs.
The brown basket has one more egg in it than the red basket.
The red basket has three fewer eggs than the pink basket.
How many eggs in each basket?

It was certainly very challenging and we tried again today in groups.

Can you work it out?

We have the only children who could solve the problem! Well done guys!
