Ash Wednesday
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. We go to a special Ash Wednesday liturgy. During the service a sign of the cross, made with ashes, is put on our heads. The ashes remind us that we are not always as good as we'd like to be. We need to say sorry and try a little harder to be the good, kind and loving people that God wants us to be. You are all welcome.
School mass
Our first school mass is on Friday. This is a great way to come together, as a community, and celebrate what makes our school so special. Families are invited, you are most welcome to join us at 9 a.m. It would be great to see you there!
Meet the teacher
Next Tuesday (20th Feb), we will be holding a 'Meet the teacher' evening. It will run from 3:15 until 6:15pm. The idea of the meeting is for you to tell me all about your child so that I can do the best possible job of teaching them this year. A simple questionnaire will be sent out soon. This will give you some idea about the kinds of things that we'd like to know more about. Parents will be timetabled every 10 minutes - please bring the questionnaire with you. I'd really like to meet every family, if possible. Keep an eye on our blog and school newsletters for more information.
Class Dojo
Our Class Dojo is up and running. Thanks to everyone who has signed up! I have sent extra invites to Parent's who have not had the chance to sign up! The children are in the process of creating their own monsters-they will look amazing when they are finished!
