Hi everyone
I hope you are enjoying the sunshine on this beautiful long weekend!
Just to let you know one of Room 6 has school sores otherwise known as impetigo.
These are contagious and can be passed from one person to another and need treating.
It might be worth checking your children over to see if they have any!

Impetigo causes blisters and sores on exposed parts of body, like your hands, legs and face. The sores spread easily to other parts of the skin and to other people

Maths problem solving
Yesterday and today we looked at a maths problem from the story and song Ten in the bed!

We thought about how many eyes would there be altogether from the characters in the bed.
The children nearly all worked out that there would be 20 eyes-they drew the illustrations in the book.
Then they had to work out what the pattern was-this was a little more tricky!
The pattern was that the numbers were going down in 2's.

Jesus clothes
Lent/Easter
There are lots of Lenten liturgies and learning this week. It would be a good idea to pack
some Jesus clothes and leave them at school for the week. A large t-shirt and some rope,
a bathrobe, a small towel for a headdress... Just keep it simple. Holy Week is, of course, the
biggest and most special week of our church calendar.

Educa
The Manuka Team is trialling Educa for the school and we need all of our parents to be on board. There are still five Room 6 kids who are waiting for their families to accept their Educa invitation. I have re-sent invitations to these people - we are looking forward to seeing you online and sharing our work with you.
