celebrating success with Lexia

Today we celebrated success with some of our students completing levels in Lexia and receiving certificates. The Lexia program helps children develop reading skills in six areas: phonological awareness, phonics, structural analysis, fluency, vocabulary and comprehension. 

Some of our class have not taken the opportunity to,use Lexia at home. All you need is my email: lornad@stmarysrotorua.school.nz. And your child’s log in details which they know.

Church Party

Today we had a birthday party for the church. Room 5 prepared hot chocolate sachets with mini marshmallows and a spoon. Room 7 iced wine biscuits and Room 6 made fruit kebabs. After our preparation we sat in 3’s to share our delights. To finish off we sang Happy Birthday
