A huge thanks this week to Lorraine Thomson and Bruce Johnson and Nana Jeanette for offering up their spare time-they have been a great help this week in Room 6. We love having people in to help so let me know if you are available to come in and we always have jobs that need doing.
Also thanks to Kayte Colledge for bringing in the 12 kittens. The class loved holding and playing with them. If you have any pets that you would like to bring in please let me know-we love having animal visits.

Thinking and learning
Today we were busy with lots of thinking and learning. Some were buying things at the vets and giving change in 10's. Some people were designing their zoo and making enclosures. Lots of children were researching animals finding out what they eat, what their habitats are like etc.
60 seconds in a minute
Today we were solving a maths problem which involved seconds. Tamba knew there were 60 seconds in a minute so we decided to see if we could count 60 seconds in time with the stop watch. It wasn't very easy but everyone tried really hard to concentrate and have a go!!!

Mini marathon 2018
Today we had 25 of Room 6 running the mini marathon. Well done guys you did so well!!!
